Royalty Committee

Monticello Royalty Page

Monticello Chamber’s Royalty Scholarship Program gives three young ladies an opportunity to represent Monticello as a Community Ambassadors for a year. As crowned Royalty for Monticello, their goal is to promote community spirit, involvement, and pride.  These three ladies represent and educate others about our great city.  Royalty attend 100+ events throughout the year.  Criteria used to select the new ambassadors each year include:  Team player, outgoing, wholesome, compassionate, genuine, respectful and responsible.  Monticello Royalty shines from their heart not just their crowns.  At the end of their reign, royalty are awarded two scholarships, one from the Riverfest Committee and another from the Chamber.  Committee meetings are scheduled as needed.
