Monticello Chamber Royal Ambassador Program
Our young adult girls have the best opportunity to get involved with a program that promotes community spirit and pride. This program is filled with fun, friendships, and opportunities to grow, learn, and discover their potential. Many businesses within our wonderful community step forward to sponsor these young adults and encourage this opportunity for them. I'm talking about the Monticello Royal Ambassadors Scholarship Program.
These girls are the ambassadors for our Monticello community. They are involved in Riverfest, community grand openings and many other community events. They attend approximately 85 events throughout the year, and they represent our great community with pride.
Scholarships in the amount of $1,500 are awarded to up to 3 Royal Ambassadors upon completing their duties and reign. Additional items awarded to the Royal Ambassadors include Dress Allowance, Crown/sash, Poise, and Connections!
Girls between the ages of 16-20 years old are eligible to apply. Candidates must have graduated or are graduating from Monticello High School. Candidates/Royal Ambassadors must be willing to represent Monticello in a positive and friendly manner. Applications are available at the Monticello Chamber office, online at www.monticellocci.com. Girls, this is your opportunity to shine and make a difference! At least take the time to check out the opportunity! You owe it to yourself!
